Jenn im guru gossip12/28/2023 ![]() It's annoys me how the comments are full of hate every time she promotes HER BRAND on HER CHANNEL how does that make any sense. If i was her i wouldn't listen to anything they say because the people complaining aren't buying sh!t and they still wouldn't buy anything if you did everything they wanted. ![]() And justifies the pricing of her clothing again, by saying in other words) the cost of her items take into account the people who are involved in the manufacturing process/ marketing + finance / distribution of her clothing line, and the prices are set so people in her company are compensated fairly for the work they've doneĥ:06 - She's found it quite challenging having a brand so far (I think this has been a real learning experience for her)ĥ:20 - doesn't want naysayers to have the last word, and that's why she's not stayed silent about this issue. ![]() She knew people weren't gonna pay $100 for her clothesģ:27 - For the next collection, her team are working on sourcing deadstock fabrics which are also more sustainableģ:49 - 3rd issue: lack of body inclusivityģ:55 - She says that she might have been selfish with the designs, she envisioned clothes that she would wear and didn't take other body types into accountĤ:10 - she says a possible solution for this issue is to find another designer that can join her team, so they can design clothes which are suitable for everybodyĤ:35 - She addresses remarks from people saying "Well, why should I buy this when I can buy something like this from Forever 21 etc." And she thought she would isolate a huge proportion of her target base if she made her clothes a higher price Explains that sustainable clothes are more expensive She wants to make clothes that are affordable and accessible to her audience The Co-owner of "Eggie" owns these factories and has done so for a decadeġ:42 - She made it clear she was not comfortable with the idea of exploiting peopleġ:47 - She goes on to say that all of her workers are above age, treated and paid fairly, and all of the factories comply with US standardsĢ:02 - Her team goes 3x a year to check these factoriesĢ:45 - 2nd issue: lack of sustainability in her brand and prices She admits her clothes are manufactured in private factories in China Realises that silence is also a response and so she wants to deal with the situation and address 3 main concerns that people had with this line.ġ:20 - 1st issue: lack of transparency on where her clothes come from She understands were people were coming from with the constructive criticism but there were also nasty comments she's had to deal with.ġ:10 - She doesn't want to stay silent about the issue. And it affected her mostly because she was mostly agreeing with what people were saying and she took a lot of comments to heart. And from the release she received a lot of backlash.Ġ:25 - She says she received a flood of negativity. But I’ll be back with the cliffs.Ġ.15: She released a Holiday collection 2 weeks ago. I hope she has a successful line!!ītw I’m still currently watching the video. ![]() By addressing the feedback and announcing how she will make improvements, will only help her in the long run. I wasn’t aware she was getting backlash for her clothing brand, but I’m impressed with the way she’s handled this situation and addressed people in her video. ![]() I saw this video in my feed and I was surprised by the title. In this video, she addresses these concerns. Her clothes are manufactured in China - which lead people to think her clothes were made in sweatshops, the expensive prices of her clothes, the sustainability of fabric materials, and lack of diversity in her models. Since the launch date, she’s received harsh feedback and negative reactions from followers, customers etc. Eggie is an online clothing line that Jenn launched in August 2017. ![]()
